Cire Trudon is the oldest recognized candle—making company in the world, dating back to 1643. Candle—makers to the kings of France, the Trudon candlemaking process was considered the most exclusive, using only beautiful, solid beeswax.

Trudon has a rich history and continues to be known as the best of the best. Founded by merchant Claude Trudon, the company has built a solid reputation dating back to the time of Napoleon and throughout the revolution and final hours of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. There are so many delicious fragrances to choose from...unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to visit this beautiful store while I was in Paris. The next time I'm there, I must go see! ...and smell, of course!
