Ok, so it's pretty obvious, pretty quickly,
that this home hasn't been decked out by an interior designer,
but I love the bones of the home,
and I also like the way the owners have kept it neutral,
but still inviting like a family home.

I think this use of timber and white is perfection in heritage homes atm.

Nice outdoor areas...

And here's the Master Plan!

AND here's what the Agent said about it!

Character Home with a hint of Charm
NESTLED amongst the heritage precinct of Claremont, there is an elegant ease to this turn of the century home - one that more contemporary houses lack. The gorgeous crme and white character facade is offset by a meticulously landscaped terraced garden, with a flourishing Frangipani tree.

Inside, the home is warm and inviting, like the type of friends home you always wanted to stay over as a child. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a loft style study with inbuilt cabinetry on the second floor. High decorative ceilings, sash windows and Victorian French doors feature throughout, all hallmarks of the era that was.

The entry passage leads through to the rear wing where a spacious, rustic inspired timber kitchen with a range hood, tile splashback and dual ovens, overlooks the dining area, offering a place for the family to convene after school and work. The lounge room occupies a pocket to the left of the kitchen and also features tall sash windows, giving a glimpse of the garden that lies before it.

Plantation shutter bifold doors divide a shady alfresco from the pool which features a vine covered limestone wall as a backdrop. The rest of the grounds are comprised of landscaped garden beds surrounding an expansive lawn area with a towering tree at the bottom of the garden - a garden you could sit in for hours.

The master bedroom is on the second level of the home.Through cedar shutters, it enjoys tree top aspects from every window, providing the most tranquil of views to wake up to each morning.

This fantastic family home could hardly be in a more convenient location. The newly opened Claremont Quarter is just a two minute walk away, as are prestigious private schools, public transport and cafes, restaurants and bars.

Reserve Street is more than a location, it is a lifestyle.
