As spring is fast approaching, there is hope that our yards will go back to normal. One thing I have always loved and appreciated about home is the different outdoor living areas that my mother has always created. One near the willow tree at the top of the yard and one on the lowest part of the lawn. My favorite, though, is the quaint gravel courtyard... which is a true French style courtyard, complete with tables and chairs and hanging light fixtures. When I move, I will miss this...
It's so nice to be able to sit outside, read, have a lunch, and just enjoy nature. This summer, we're thinking of hosting an outdoor party with a fun Asian theme. We're thinking bright lanterns as the starting point and to work from there. If you have any ideas or inspiration, please share!
