And Then I Lost My Mind

This is the item that made all of my shopping hiatus efforts come crashing down today. I fell hard for this sweet, summery white dress. Who wouldn't? Did I mention it was snowing today? Despite that, this oh-so-white dress had my name all over it. It was the perfect scenario: the last one in the store and naturally, it happened to be my size. To make matters worse, I bought the belt they had displayed with it, too. I was doing so well! I bypassed some really great items that I came across over the past few weeks, and one look at this dress on the mannequin, so put together with its beautiful belt and necklace, and I completely lost my mind and forgot about my hiatus. Needless to say, I am now returning to my pre-breakdown mindset in hopes of achieving my 3 month goal...I can't believe I gave in, Paula, I felt so encouraged by your shopping hiatus...but I know I can start again, fresh. *sigh* I'm going to eat a cupcake and dream of new shoes in June.
