And the Winner Is...

I am thrilled to announce that the winner of "The Sartorialist" book is SoJo!

Congratulations to you! Tonight, each of your names were written up (the old fashioned way) on little papers, shaken and stirred, and selected randomly, eyes closed. SoJo, I hope you enjoy this book, and that these outfits offer you endless inspiration this Christmas season and throughout the year...

Thank you for all of your sweet comments left on the giveaway post. They were heartwarming, and I feel truly blessed to belong to such a kind community. I would love to be able to send a copy of this amazing book to each person that commented. It certainly is an amazing and inspiring gift to give as well as receive this Christmas!

I am so happy that December has arrived. Out has come my much—anticipated advent calendar, massive Christmas list of to-do's, to have's, to see's, and to try to-do's, and slowly each day, the decor...I began my Christmas decor with one scheme in mind, then, more recently, have had a flash of inspiration, and have switched to something quite different than what I had set out to do. (more soon)

Traditional or funky? Classic elements or handmade and unique pieces? This is the first post of Christmas inspiration, leading the way for several more to follow — what are your thoughts on this color scheme and decor? I find the bones of the rooms to be so beautiful, but also, the little, simple touches, such as the modern wreath hanging over the headboard, to be so pretty, and just enough to make a joyful statement. (it looks, perhaps, like felt?)

Wishing you a much inspired day*
