A Hawthorn Classic Home, VIC

Luxury on Scotch Hill

Property Summary

Category: House
Bedrooms: 5
Bathrooms: 5
Garage: Double
Close to: Melbourne: 6km (direct line)
Scotch Hill is in Hawthorn, which is a predominantly expensive heritage suburb of Melbourne. There is an abundance of beautiful old restored homes like this, and they don't often come onto the market.

Despite the white stark walls, the rooms are very warm and inviting, no doubt the timber floors have something to do with that.

And isn't it nice to see a "pricey" home with very little beige, and heaps of real colours!
This one is currently on the market for over $5 million buckaroos!

HOUSEKEEPING

These bedrooms remind me of the elegant styling of a fellow blogger, one of my favourites, Brooke from Velvet & Linen.

You should jump over to a current competition where
Brooke and her husband Steve
are being considered in a competition
All The Best Bedroom Contest for their work.

While you are there, put in a vote for Brooke's bedroom scape, no.6!
Def the best bedroom in the comp, and no.12 is a close 2nd (IMO)!

Her interior design work is consistently exquisite, check out this home if you want to see some of her work, and here if you want to see some of her husband's amazing work.

Brooke is a very generous and talented blogger who offers many regular posts of excellent interesting content.

Def one of the best interior blogs around at the moment.
I hope she wins!!!

Now, back to Scotch Hill...

Aha, so that's why such a big price tag, a tennis court in Hawthorn, that's not too common these days with developers snapping up these properties and chopping them up for a quick profit!

And here's the Master Plan if you are interested...

AND what did the agent say about this widdle property!
