I found this home almost "too" perfect, but isn't the home exterior amazing... I can't believe a home like this exists, 5 mins from where I grew up, and is for sale right now.

UPDATE UPDATE

***********************

This property just sold for about $5 Million Big Ones to an overseas investor!

***********************

Templestowe was a boom suburb about 30-40 years ago, and some of the luxury properties are on acres. These properties now fetch around $1.5-3 million.
This house doesn't list a price, but I'm guessing around $3.5 Big Ones!

Most blocks are the usual 1/4 acres, like the house that I grew up in (which is not this one unfortunately!!!)

INTERIOR PICS!

AS THE AGENT PUTS IT....

C’est Magnifique!

TEMPLESTOWE
Features: Open Fire Place, Alarm, Ducted Vacuum, Intercom, A/C, Additional on site parking for 3 cars.
This grand and imposing residence of French Provincial design is superbly positioned on approximately 4,000 square metres in a quiet cul-de-sac of fine homes. Architecturally designed and built over two levels to exacting standards this stunning family home is both a magnificent statement and a testament to detail with high quality finishes and luxurious appointments throughout. On entering the foyer with its custom wrought iron balustrade and curved Jarrah handrail, the symmetry of the façade gives way to a free-flowing, ground floor layout offering a formal living / dining room of elegant dimensions, a superb, chef’s kitchen with Emporite cabinets, top quality European appliances and granite benchtops which opens to a light filled and generously proportioned family/meals room with direct access to rear entertaining alfresco. Also on this floor is a further family/rumpus room, the master bedroom with ensuite and walk-in robe, a study, powder room, and large, family-sized laundry. Features on this level include Swarovski/Bohemia blend chandeliers; polished Italian porcelain tiles in the entry, kitchen, family and passage areas; a wood fire in the formal lounge and gas fire in the family room both with cast iron, brass embossed surrounds and antique timber mantles; air conditioning; built in surround sound to family and rumpus rooms; concealed cabling for TV; internal access to wide double garage. The upper level, reached via the graceful, curving stairway, provides a further 6 bedrooms in a balanced arrangement of 4 double rooms and 2 single rooms all with built in robes, plus two bathrooms, one at each end . An intercom system connects the two levels. The rear entertaining alfresco, complete with in built and enclosed s/steel 4 burner BBQ (with rangehood) and sink, looks out over an expansive, split-level rear garden with ample room for both a N/S facing tennis court and pool. A sub-surface water treatment plant recycles all waste water which is dispersed to irrigate both the front and rear lawns. Additional water storage is provided in an 11,000 litre under-ground tank. From any aspect this is a magnificent and luxurious home designed to accommodate a large family in the utmost comfort. A home of timeless grandeur. Additional features include: • Ornate Corbel cornices throughout • Granite benchtops in kitchen, ensuite and bathrooms • Emporite cabinets with Gainsborough crystal knobs in kitchen, ensuite and bathrooms • Fully integrated Miele dishwasher • Ilve 120cm oven – 60x60cm split • Qasair rangehoods in kitchen and outdoor entertaining area • Grohe tapware in kitchen and showers • Zip water filter - refrigerated • Hydronic gas panel heating • Ducted vacuum system • Remote alarm system • Remote auto driveway gates • Hard wired smoke alarms in all bedrooms and throughout living areas • 3 Foxtel points – HD IQ in family room – IQ standard in rumpus – standard in master b/room • AV/TV and internet points in all bedrooms • Additional on-site parking for 3 cars • Established gardens including vegetables and fruit trees • Ornate 3 tier water fountain • Large slab-based storage shed • Space for a full size North facing tennis court
