I love how these homes showcase carefully planned touches of time worn wood in such a great manner— you can really appreciate them because they are displayed almost like art, with an abundance of white space around them. There's something so wonderful about their perfect imperfections, and I find that there is usually a story attached with such pieces. Perhaps you found something perfect at a flea market, or it's a piece that has been passed down through the family, or maybe you brought something back from your trip to Europe...
