Hello, New Week

Good Monday morning! I love Mondays. They are refreshing in the sense that my week starts with this day and builds upon it. Have I ever told you that on top of my freelance work, I also work at a lovely fine children's fashion boutique, a few weekends a month? I love it. Have you ever visited a boutique store that is so charming that you feel like you could stay there forever? That's this little store...I have been there for 5 years and love it. I love to sell, (I adore retail) chat with people, and of course, merchandise and sell beautiful fashion. The perk is the beautiful babies that come in and the more-than-excited grandparents and parents. It's beautiful to observe. Sometimes, I just sit back, watch and smile. I've watched people embrace, laugh, cry, and share new and exciting news. I feel so grateful to be a part of special moments like this...

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend, whether you spent it reading and relaxing, being impossibly romantic and spontaneous, or whether you were working hard to finish something up...I spent the majority of my weekend working away, but also went out for dinner, watched a few great movies, and had nine hours of sleep! (my skin is very grateful)
