As Fall is rolling in, I'm reminded of all of the wonderful warmth that it brings...cozy sweaters, Grandma's amazing pumpkin pies, delicious and comforting hot drinks at the coffee shop...there are so many things I love about Fall, but one thing I look forward to is transforming my place to coordinate with the season. I often turn to nature for color inspiration— to add that same warmth in feeling and expression to my space. Flowers, such as dahlias, in hues of deep purple, yellow, orange, green, and colors so dark and bold, they are nearly black, are the perfect way to add a touch of Fall, but in a simple way.
Don't you just love the richness and velvety texture of these flowers? They look particularly gorgeous combined with silky finishes, glossy textures or glass. How are you going to bring some Autumn into your home?
