Thanksgiving & Festival

I hope you have all had a wonderful week! This week, I feel as if I have fallen behind on visiting some of my favorite blogs—I apologize, and hope to catch up with you very soon. Amongst a great deal of work, I did manage to squeeze in a bit of fun...

First, I received my beautiful pink Coach wallet—my prize from Paula Grace's fashion/decor contest! (some pics to come)
Second, I picked up a classic piece that I have been wanting for a long time: a lucite ghost chair. I'm so delighted! This morning was my first morning in my new chair. It seems to sit so ideally at my tulip table—Don't you just love finding that perfect match?
Third, I found the most beautiful aubergine pillows and fabric for curtains for my bedroom. Come Fall, I long for rich, warm colors, and was excited to switch to aubergine...
Fouth, we have a new addition to the family: Lola. She is from Montréal, is a rare find, and approximately 100 years old. She was used in fashion design and had the privilege of wearing many, many beautiful outfits...can you guess what she is?

Amongst all of my Canadian friends, this weekend we will be celebrating Thanksgiving! Mmm...turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, cranberries...I am very much looking forward to our family dinner on Sunday. But first, tomorrow is the much anticipated Cranberry festival! Held in Fort Langley, the birthplace of British Columbia, the festival calls thousands of people to celebrate. There are, of course, cranberries galore for sale, as well as some fun vendors, such as oil paintings, jewelry, delicious food, gourmet cooking products, and more! It should be very fun.

How has your week been? Did you happen upon any great finds, also?
Any plans for this weekend? :)
